The Bike & Tattoo show is more than ever “the” key event of the motorcycle season and a benchmark in the tattoo world. Where passions collide under one roof, there is no other event of this magnitude in Canada - custom motorcycles, custom cars and artistic tattoos - The Bike & Tattoo Show. Presented during the heart of the spring season it marks the official beginning of the riding season. All enthusiasts and body art lovers from the worlds of motorcycling and tattooing must attend. Customizing bikes, cars and even our bodies is a way of showing who we really are; people stand out and reveal their personalities. Attendees of this show get familiar, observe, listen, handle and learn about new products, they meet and converse with industry experts as well as with other aficionados like themselves - and all the while in a fun, friendly and festive atmosphere that has made the Bike & Tattoo Show a reputable event. 


Description

Two indoor exhibition halls totaling 42,000 square feet

More than 230 interior booths;

  • Custom Motorcycle & Custom Car/Hot Rod hall: 150 booths
  • Tattoo hall: 80 booths

Both halls have a equipped stage where live music, fashion shows, award ceremonies and special events, will take place. A music DJ will also be on hand all weekend.

History / Timeline

  • 1998
    Opening show in Lachenaie, Quebec
    Named “Motorcycle Expo - Custom and Antique”. - Harley-Davidson booths
    and one single tattoo artist on site

  • 1999
    The event moved to the Repentigny, Quebec
    Introduction of the tattoo component of the show
    The exposition is officially named the “Bike & Tattoo Show”

  • 2002
    The event moved to the Laval SportPlus complex in Laval, Quebec (three times the floor space)
    The Laval SportPlus complex changed its name to SportXpo in 2005

  • 2011
    Introduction of the “Custom Car and Hot Rod” component of the show
  • 2015
    Expansion of the tattoo component of the show named the “Laval Tattoo Expo”, presented by MTL Tattoo studio in collaboration with Pros Production.
